Not too bad out there, but we are headed for below 0 numbers by morning. The boys may be spending some time inside tomorrow.
Little Wonder made it out for morning chores, but passed this evening.
Rebel is definately dominant in this relationship, but they get along very well 99% of the time. He moves Buddy out of the way when he thinks it's his turn for getting a drink.
I did some stuff around the house and wanted to put a little tree above the fireplace. I stepped on the hearth with my right foot and crunch! I pulled something in the back of my left leg toward the right side of my calf! Yikes! So painful I could hardly walk on it. Perfect timing! I iced it, put heat on it and am using my cane. The pain pills I took did not cut it and I will have to switch to a better anti inflammatory. Gary did the water tonight and made sure I was able to get around. Fortunately, it does not take very long. Both boys were into rolling.
Got them tucked in...
and we headed back to the house.
One of our friends had back surgery and can't do anything for a couple of weeks, so Gary wanted us to make a simple dinner for them. His wife (my pal Shamra the artist) is a vegetarian so I made Mac and cheese, a nice salad and some crusty rolls (Wegmans). Gary also sent over a jar of his dill pickles.
When he got back to the farm after delivering the meal, we had the same exact dinner.
Still not into taking photos....and now I'm a gimp!
Night all.

Gimp, that is a fine word and can apply to both of us down here too. Hugh has a permanent GIMP, and mine I am hoping will soon be gone, after lugging my extra heavy suitcase up our backdoor ramp . I really do hope you rest your leg, ice then heat might help, rest, and more rest might help too. L W, you are a marvel to even venture your nose out into that cold.!!!
