Barely got out of the 40s and we had more rain.
Rebel and Buddy survived being in their stalls last night. They had to have loved some down time in the soft bedding. This morning they were not interested in hay and went straight out to the pasture.
It sure increased my chore time, as I have hardly had to clean the stalls.
My friend Jean C. was in the area (from Missouri) and brought a friend over so we could catch up. Little Wonder loves her and even made friends with Carol.
I was almost late to bridge....but we got off to a late start anyway. The winners get to split the "purse." David and I came in dead last. While we were there it poured like crazy.
Home around 4:30. Another blossom popped open today.
Now there are two on the same plant.
Started on dinner... then went out for chores.
As per usual, Rebel was in the run-in and Buddy was out in the pasture.
The sky was gorgeous.
We had some of my lemon/Romano cheese/chicken stock pasta and a salad for dinner.
There is a fire going and I need to get out in the kitchen.
Night all.

I wonder if they'd choose to be outside even in the yucky weather? That would be a curious thing to find out!
We are down in the 20's here.
I see no reason to have my horses outside with no shelter when the weather is nasty. They are going on 29 and 30 and deserve to be comfortable. Both of their "stalls" are over 40 feet long and they have plenty of opportunity for movement. What is the point of standing in the wind when it is below 0?
Beautiful sky. I've had horses in four-sided shelters with an opening to go in and out. They always chose to be inside in rain. They would meander in and out during cold spells. You are a welcoming person, always guests coming and going.
