40 Degrees This Morning

So much sunshine. It looked like this at 6:45am and got brighter and brighter.

Both boys were in the pasture and it was VERY cold.

I put a couple flakes of hay in the sunshine for them.

I did a few things around the house, then went to the bank and library for bridge.  A good mental break.
Got home around 4:30 and started on dinner.  Decided to do chores before we ate.

Pretty soon I will have Gary put the plexiglass windows back in the barn so that it will be warmer than outside if Buddy and Rebel want to hang out.  Not sure what's going to happen when it snows.  I have a feeling that they will be locked in their suites for the night.
Dinner was so good.  Homemade lomain
and a couple of pork medallions topped with soy, honey mustard, duck sauce, onions, a red pepper, zucchini and water chestnuts.  I browned the pork and onions before putting them in the pie plate...then topped it with another pie plate for a cover (in the oven at 350).
Of course I needed to have a sliced banana on the side.
Now I need to get warm.
Night all.
And thanks for all the comments about the loss of my brother.
