Eventually they went into their stalls.
After they had breakfast, Buddy went out for hay and Rebel was trying to decide if he should go in Buddy's stall to see if there were any leftovers.
Buddy and Rebel don't have a clue about what is going on in our world. Such innocence.
Same with LW and Sid.
It's been awhile since we have had a new blossom.
At 9:30 Jenny arrived. She and Gary went to Letchworth State Park for a hike and out to lunch. By noon it was jammed with visitors.
Quite a spectacular site! (And it's not far from here). In the Town of Sweden, where we live, there are hardly any hills....even little ones.
I did several loads of laundry and continued reading my book....until my eyes closed.
Gary and Jen were back before 3 and we had dinner around 6. Simple and so good.
I would highly recommend this room temperature....potato salad.
First roast some potatoes....450 degrees after tossed in oil.
Make a dressing: 6 TBSP olive oil, 2 TBSP wine vinegar, 1 TBSP Balsamic vinegar, 2 teaspoons of dijon mustard....some salt. Shake it up in a jar, then toss on potatoes. Top with chives.
We also had a tomato, cucumber and onion salad
and grilled cheeseburgers topped with caramalized onions.
Chores by 6:30.
Time to get out in the kitchen to watch the game. They are 4 and 0!
Night all.

I camped in Letchworth as a kid. I have fond memories of playing in the water. Sometimes I envy the innocence of our critters - kinda like sticking fingers in my ears, squinting my eyes shut and making noise to shut out anything that gets through my plugged ears!
Good recipe for a side dish. Appreciate your food ideas. If only we had the one who wrote the book you’re reading leading our nation in peace rather than all this violence and hatred to others fueled by a fist in the air. Kathy
