Eight Days A Week

The coolness is such a relief.

Both boys were in Rebel's stall this morning and ended up where they belonged.

I did not do much today...certainly did not take many photos.  Almost forgot!  I did go to the library for bridge.  Had some good hands but they were not good enough.
A little after 5 I drove Gary down to the Welcome Center for Summer Serenades and Little Wonder joined me.

Back home for awhile and fed the boys.

At the Welcome Center a little after 7.... tonights concert featured Eight Days a Week.  All Beatles music.

There was a huge crowd and everyone was singing.

Many people were watching from the other side of the canal.
Home around 9.
Night all.

Cooler Tomorrow....Rain!

I finally put some fresh flowers on the kitchen table.

Around 70 when I got out to the barn this morning.

I put a little hay in the run in and cleaned the stalls while I was filling up the water trough.

Little Wonder is going to be surprised when we have rain and 60 degrees tomorrow!

Around 10 I decided to start mowing the lawn.  It has been two weeks and it was patchy.  Hot but not too bad.
My main job these days....staying cool.
Made BLT subs for dinner.

Chores a little before 8.

Looking forward to the change in the weather.
Night all.

58 Years!

Another scorcher!

After chores I took a short break in the house and the Vet called with the report about Rebel's Cushings test.  His numbers were boarderline and I am not going to put him on any meds at this time.  What a relief.
Alice arrived at 10 and was happy to get the good news.

Another welcome Spa Day.  This time I had two fans going and the grooming room felt great...at least for the first hour and a half.

While Alice was grooming Rebel, I clipped his legs.  No more for now.

Rebel and Buddy had three Spa days in the past 8 days.  Living large!
Back in the house and had lunch.  Made a taco salad out of the leftovers.  Gary went to yoga and out to lunch with his pals.
Today was out 58th anniversary and we went out to dinner at Grampa Sam's.  We invited Carol and Topper to come along and had a great time.  Topper and I ordered lasagna....Gary and Carol ordered salmon with almonds and veggies.  Weird.

We even split a couple of desserts....as in this coconut cream pie.  Big yum.

Home in time for evening chores.  Still hot and way too muggy.  Can't wait for the cool down on Thursday.

Night all.
