My Hands Were Frozen!

Way too cold for me this morning.  Sunrise at 7am was encouraging.  So happy to have some solar energy in the air.

I had  to take a break after cleaning Rebel's stall to go in and get my hands warmed up.  Took it easy this afternoon and then we got a call from Ariana she said that she and Cooper were going to come up for a visit.  How sweet are they!!!
So much fun to converse with these two.

The Bills/Patriots game started a little before 4:30 and they went back to Jenny's to watch it..  She made them Buffalo chicken dip and all kinds of goodies.  Went out to do chores at 4:45.  The temperature in the barn was just below 15 degrees.  Extra hay, warm water and bran mash tonight.  At least it was light enough for me to get some photos.

Dinner was a replay.
Little Wonder was happy to be inside after evening chores.
Night all.

When it is super duper cold, I use my double mittens that my grandmother made years ago. They are heavy tight knit mittens with a layer of tough material over the inside of the hands for carrying wood in for a stove and such things.
Hope things warm up for you!

It was cold here this morning and our DS1 and DIL had bought a house here so had hired a couple of muscle men to help them unload the rental truck that had brought them here from FL. It was 18*F when they started unloading the truck into their new house, at 9a then they came here with the truck and men to load up their things from the garage and house next door (that we bought in 2007 for AMIL and crazy FIL and where DS2 lives now). They now have his grandparent's dining room table and other things and are warm and tired in their home. We are elated they are here and in before Christmas (barely) and Tuesday is DS1's birthday. Unto us a child was born, unto us a son was given on Christmas Eve, 1979.

Hugs!

Too cold, you need some of those air activated hand warmers, Josh said they lasted all day in his gloves!!! Grandies are the best.
