13 degrees this morning and it went up to 32. Yay!
Both cats were hanging around the heat registers.
Fortunately we had some nice sunshine and once again I put their hay in the front paddock.
Rebel and Buddy followed their same routine and headed out to the pasture by the time I finished the stalls.
Mary Pat was in the kitchen when I got back to the house....
and Little Wonder decided she might be a good friend.
It only took him 2 days to realize she was a keeper.
So what did I do today? Laundry and a trip to Wegmans (and Country Max for shavings).
Chores at 5. The moon was beautiful.
I tucked the boys in and did not take one photo as I was in a hurry to take a shower, make a salad and get down to the Hart Gallery for a pre Christmas gathering hosted by Greg and Pam Ketchum. For many years they held it on Christmas Eve Eve at their home, but this time decided to hold it in this venue. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Pam hung lights and made several huge arrangements for the serving tables. She outdid herself and the atmosphere was as good as it gets.
She delivered a very appropriate message for the season that was much appreciated by all.
Pam and Greg made a lot of food (like spanakopita, baclava, stuffed shells, meatballs, gigantic chocolate chip cookies and more) and the rest of us brought dishes to pass. Enough to feed the whole village and there must have been over 50 of there. So good. Loved catching up with many friends in this cozy setting. The Harts sure have created a beautiful space. We left around 8:30.
Main Street looked the best ever. The trees have gotten so big, and the lights made it feel very magical.
That's that.
Night all.

Beautiful! We were stuck at home yesterday with an amazing ice/snow/sleet storm.
Your downtown looks gorgeous!
We had the same weather as Val. This whole thing looks magical. You make me almost want to be a social person.
