Bills 48 Lions 42. What a Game!

I'd say we hit around 34 degrees today.  By this afternoon it was raining again.

Woke up to another new blossom which made it a lot brighter in the kitchen than it was outside.

I had all the ingredients, so it was time to make "The Swedish Apple Cake" that I have being seeing all over the place.
I did not have a springform pan so I made it in a pie plate.
After 40 minutes I took it out of the oven, topped in with a Caramel sauce and put it back in for 15 minutes.
It ended up looking like this.
I put it in a cupboard to cool and....

after a quick shower, we headed down to the Morgan Manning House for a Holiday Reception.
Jenny is on the board, Gary was a past president and we are members....so we like to support these events.

So many people were wearing red!
Gary wanted us to check out his socks that Jenny brought back from Sweden.
It was raining when we left and the boys were nice and wet when I tucked them in a little before 5.

The Bills had a game in Detroit today and it was a humdinger!  They outdid themselves and Detroit had a 12 and 1 record.   Wow!  As soon as we got home we turned it on and sat by the fire.

No need to make dinner, but we did taste the Swedish Apple Cake.  Delicious, but way too full of sugar and butter calories.
Night all.
