Nice and bright when I went out to the barn. Still in the 20s.
I think it's time to put hay out every morning in addition to what they get at night.
Right after chores I made a very quick trip to the bank and Wegmans and got home just as Alice was pulling in the driveway for Spa Day.
It took the boys awhile before they seemed interested in joining us.
We finally bribed them to come in.
Little Wonder likes to go in and out while we are grooming.
I'm sure the boys were a little chilly when we took their blankets off.
Alice gives them carrots when they are finished.
Gary had the fire going when I got back in the house. You know what that means.
It snowed for about 20 minutes. That's all we got.
Evening chores a little before 5. Not quite as cold as it was this morning.
I'm only out there for around 15 minutes or so, but by the time they are tucked in it's really dark.
I had meatballs and sauce leftover from last night and invented something new to us.
A deconstructed....open faced.....meatball sandwich on Naan bread.
A keeper! Try it!
Gary spends a lot of time in this chair reading and napping.
Hanny, this afternoon he was reading one of Bill's books (short stories).
So that's today's story. Of course you must already know that the Buffalo Bills played a great game in the snow last night and won with gusto. Yay! I don't know how the fans can handle two feet of snow on their seats. They try to move it off, but there is nowhere for it to go. I would have been frozen.

A person would have to be an ardent fan to sit out there in the snow. I'm not even a rainy day fan. 😉 The boys were blowing steam whilst being groomed. You deconstructed meatball sandwich looks good.
