Rain this morning.
I finally found out what was wrong with Sidney. This morning the left side of his face was very swollen. I called the Animal Hospital and am so grateful they were open.
He had an abscess which needed to be lanced.
The Vet said he was the best behaved cat she worked with all year,
as he let her do everything without a fuss.
At noon I drove over to Carina's and picked up 15 loaves of her Challah bread
(to be given to our guests tonight).
Then I baked a ham,
made Swedish meatballs and rice pudding.
Little Wonder
and Phoebe did not get a lot of attention.
At 4 I managed to catch a break by the fire.
Everything was ready for our 25 guests and I still had to do chores.
(forgot my camera...too much going on).
I am so tired I can't write another word.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve.
Night all.

Oh my! We had a quiet day of removing snow from the roof, plowing, moving hay and preparing for the ice storm/rain we are supposed to get today.
No one is traveling around here.
I bet you are pooped, your place looks amazing and the food incredible!
Have a wonderful Christmas Day!
Looks like everyone had a great time. The food looks delicious too. I can understand why you were to tired to write. Same here. Had the gang over and it's very tiring. Especially, the big clean up afterwards. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas
Lily & Edward
Glad kitty is ok
