PLANT GARLIC IN OCTOBER....

Since this is not a painting day, Gary is getting his garlic ready for planting.  Hopefully he saved enough heads to plant at least 3000 cloves.

Thanks Lori and Gary, we'll follow your lead and try planting some garlic in the coming month.

I saved some of the garlic. Do you think it will survive temperatures of 40 to 50 below? Or should I store it someplace cool and plant it in the spring? Can it be planted in the greenhouse (we start that up in February with a furnace) and then transplanted? SO many questions! (I can't imagine the work involved to plant 3000 cloves!
