It's pretty amazing that we can be at 74 one day and two days later have the temperature drop to 27 at night. Last evening it started to snow....big flakes. People on the expressway had very poor visibility. By this morning it was starting to disappear and we almost made 40 degrees.
I had the fire going all day. Still very worried about Sidney. He is skinny and not doing well in the eating department. Today he had a little turkey and a couple bites of tuna fish. Liked staying warm by the fire.
He also enjoyed taking long naps on the bed.
It was one of my lazier days. I'll have to take a trike ride tomorrow.
Fortunately I pulled off a good dinner. Pork chops with caramelized onions, turned left over mashed potatoes into pancakes.....and a salad.
Now, it's a little after 6:30pm and it's the most beautiful part of the day.
Most of the daffodils survived the freeze.....let's see if they can do it again tonight.
Night all.
