It felt so great not having that cuff on! Val and Sandra....I know I can take my blood pressure at home and the cardiologist gave me a cuff a long time ago which he took back (as he thinks it was worse for me to get worked up over it). We do happen to have one here tho, and I will give it a shot on my own.
The first thing I did this morning, was to get some fresh flowers out of the kitchen garden.
Around 10:30 Little Wonder, Sid and I went out to the barn to bundle up more of the loose hay. Tomorrow Kathy and Mike (own the farm where Buddy is boarded) are coming over to pick up the rest of the bales I am donating to Buddy.
Of course, because there are no horses, the pastures are going to be fantastic!
Gary got out the roto tiller this afternoon and has prepared a space to plant potatoes.
Mid afternoon I got off my butt and went to Country Max and Wegmans. Would love to have all these orchids.
There is a new Chinese restaurant in town and thought I would give it a try. Ordered Sesame chicken to go.
We split one dinner, as I already had egg rolls at home. The best sesame chicken I have ever had. Gary even liked it.
It did not get very warm today and by late afternoon we got a fire going.
Tomorrow my friend Alicia and I are going shopping for some food as we are in charge of making two charcuterie boards for an event on Sunday. I've done it before and actually enjoy putting them together.
Night all.

We had a cold day here with the wind but a lot got done. Uffdah on the home BP. But you can at least put the cuff on and sit down and relax for a while and pet LW and think pleasant thoughts before you push the button.
I often wonder why doctors think we need to have the Blood Pressure of a 20 yr old when we are not in our 20's.
One day after driving through and around floods to get to the doctor I had 185/ 95. They freaked out and asked me to come back the next day.
It was below normal so they freaked out again.
What can I say.
At least they now have it on my chart that office visits = white coat syndrome and that is a real thing.
Looks like you had a lovely dinner!
