This was a very messy morning. Rain and wet snow. Not a picture taking day.
The boys had their hay under the shed roof, and then ventured out in the wet stuff.
By 1pm I put them back in the barn. The temperature felt like the high 20s and they were in the outdoor arena getting soaked.
Got back in the house just in time for the Buffalo Bills game, which they lost to the Dolphins. They were really off today.
At least I was cozy with the fire going.
Before 5 I turned Buddy and Rebel out while I reset their stalls. By then, the snow had been sticking for awhile.
We had only a little left from last nights dinner, so I thawed out some cabbage soup and it was a mish mash....but easy.
I did not take Little Wonder out for evening chores. Right now he is ready for bed!
Night all.

Ah, I remember early Chicago snows and especially in the late fall of 1968 when our Aussie exchange student saw snow for the first time. What joy!
Am glad the boys are snug and warm as are LM and the rest of you. Wonderful dinner, too.
No snow for us yet.
Check out the ETSY sellers 2 Favorite Sisters and their buffalo plaid mugs in 3 sizes that are wonderful. I got DH one of the largest green buffalo plaid mugs for Father's Day and he LOVES it. Have bought him a blue buffalo plaid mug with the white evergreens superimposed on the plaid for Christmas and the identical purple buffalo plaid mug for our younger son. Son #1 likes black. Oh, well!
Hugs!
