The Bridge Is Open

I'm glad the snow has melted, but the rain could take a break.

Even tho Rebel and Buddy had hay under the shed roof, they preferred
grazing in the rain.

The temperature went up to 45 today.

Of course they had to roll in the indoor after their sheets were nice and wet.

This was bridge day, and before I left....made the beet pulp for the boys and put together some sloppy Joes in a crockpot for dinner.  I get home so late it's a pain to start dinner from scratch.
On the way to Brockport, the sky was looking very dark....much darker than it looks in these photos.

There is a lift bridge on Main Street that goes over the Canal and it has been out of commission for almost three years.  The local businesses have taken a big hit with the change in traffic and are hoping for things to improve.  I drove over it for the first time on my way to the library.

My partner and I tied for second.
Chores a little after five.  It felt so cold to me.

Gary was kind enough to bring in some grain and beet pulp pellets for me.  I'm am not into lifting these bags, ever since I got my pacemaker.
I had stopped at Wegmans on my way home, as coleslaw was on my mind and I needed to get a cabbage (among other things).
Dinner hit the spot.
Night all.
