Major sunshine this morning. So nice! We did have a heavy frost last night
tho, and the water trough was frozen.
The boys had their breakfast in the warmest spot I could find.
Sidney was being smart and got warmed up in the window on the south side of the barn.
When Gary got back from coffee I went to Brockport and ran some errands. My last stop was Country Max so I could get 8 bags of shavings before we get some snow. I think I'm going to load up this week so I'll be set for months. I can pack 10 bags in my Subaru at a time. (That includes two in the front seat). Should be in the 40s through the weekend.
I ran into two friends while I was out....one in Wegmans and one at Country Max. That led to a lot of catching up and conversation. When I got home Gary had a fire going and eventually Little Wonder and I watched the last episode of THE MORNING SHOW. It was so good! Have you watched it?
Rebel and Buddy were enjoying the late afternoon sun.
We have had fires every single day and Gary brings the wood up to the porch off the kitchen one wheelbarrow at a time. There is nothing like the heat you get from a stove. It puts you in such a cozy groove....so relaxing.
Sidney certainly likes it.
The boys were tucked in just as it got dark.
Grilled burgers, baked beans and a carrot/apple/walnut/craisin salad for dinner.
Little Wonder was down for the count by 7pm.
Night all.
