More Snow

Before going out to the barn, Gary and I did some shoveling.

Little Wonder definately needed his black coat.

It was pretty windy and felt like we were in the 20s, so the boys ate behind the grooming room.

I went to bed at 9:30 last night and am still tired!
Gary C. came over at 2 and we worked on a few of songs until 4.  It is not easy for me to learn the notes  (on the bass) to something I have never heard and then manage the lyrics.  Guess I had better start to practice.  The new music we are working on is nothing like what we sang when I was in She Sings.  We are working on Tennessee Whiskey, Summer's End,  Deep River Blues and many more.  I sat by the fire for awhile and then went out to tuck in Rebel and Buddy.  It warmed up to the mid 30s so some of the snow melted.  Fortunately I did get some laundry done earlier and got the house back in order.

Totally dark when I got back to the house.

I had thawed out some lasagna that was in the freezer and topped it with a bag of our sauce (that I heated up and thickened).
A very basic salad.  I need to go shopping tomorrow!
Tasted great!
More cold weather is on the way.
Night all.

No snow down here just a bit southwest of Richmond, but it was plenty cold due to a frosty wind that blew most of the day. My winter coat and gloves came out of the closet and were most welcome.
Are you not going to sing with She Sings any longer?
Stay cozy!

Hugs!
