Freezing!!!!!
It looked like this at 6:15am. More snow. I shoveled a path to the barn.
A new blossom was starting to open up.
Little Wonder did not wander out of the barn....he knew his feet would be hurting if he did.
I was very grateful for the sunshine.
At 10:30 we headed out to Hamlin for a service for long time friend, Richard Fenton. Our families have know each other for almost 50 years. The church was filled to the brim with family and friends from near and far. The eulogy suited him to a T. So good to see Robbie, Mark and their wives. They have been a great comfort to Joan and we hope to see much more of all of them.
Because it rained yesterday and was about 12 degrees today....all the trees were covered with whiteness.
Below we were driving down Main Street headed for home.
By then, the blossom had really opened up.
It was so cold I had put Buddy and Rebel in their stalls for awhile (around 2).
We were invited to the Fentons late afternoon and had a chance to catch up with everyone. On the way home the sky was beautiful. Doesn't it look like two birds are flying? Must be a message from Richard.
Got everything set for evening chores....turned out the boys, picked the stalls and gave them more hay, grain and warm water. Tomorrow we are supposed to reach 40 degrees. Is that possible?
On my way back to the house I could not believe the color in the sky.
Night all.
