Every morning I am up before it is light. Little Wonder was out around 6am....
and it was snowing and blowing.
By the time Rebel and Buddy finished breakfast the sun was out and it was very windy....around 20 degrees (not counting the wind chill).
I have been putting hay behind the grooming room where it's more protected.
It was blowing like crazy in the back forty.
We had more snow and I did a lot of shoveling before and after chores. Fortunately it was very light. By 9:52 I had taken 6,102 steps and right now I am almost at 10,000. Check out that heart rate when I got in the house. Normally, I am between 68 and 72 when at rest.
Sidney wanted to go outside at 2am and he never came in the house for breakfast or lunch. I looked in the loft, Gary's barn and the basement....he was nowhere.
Of course the boys chose to be in the small pasture with their butts to the wind. Always the same spot.
We had a lunch date with our friends Brenda and Al that got cancelled, so Gary took us to Barber's instead.
Around 4:30 I could hear Sidney at the kitchen door. So happy to see him! He was dirty and gimpy in his front right. Who knows what happened to him. By then, he had to be dehydrated and he was eager to drink and eat. I put him on the bed and he's currently resting comfortably. Hopefully he will improve. Poor guy.
Gary has been reading like crazy and his home base is his favorite chair in the living room.
Nice soft light tonight.
Meatball sandwiches for dinner...we are sauced out.
Night all.
