The Farrier

We had spritzy rain most of the day and the temperature went up to 40 degrees.

I started out putting hay nets by the grooming room and had to eventually move them under the shed roof.

Jessy was here by 9:45 to trim the boy's feet.  Fortunately they responded to my whistle and came into the grooming room.

They were both nice and dirty from rolling.

I had to pick up a new bed for LW as his old one fell apart and did that before going to the library for bridge.  Home at 5 as I had to stop at Wegmans to pick up anything we might need for the next few days.  I'm not shopping tomorrow as part of the boycott.  Staying off social media will be a challenge.  At least I can do this.
Still light when I went out for chores.

Tucked the boys in at 5:45.
I get home so late on Thursdays we frequently go out for a sandwich.  Tonight we went to the Churchville Grill and picked up our friend Alice on the way!  We gave her about two minutes notice and she was game.  Home after 8, so I'm late in posting.
Night all.

DH has an ECHO cardiogram scheduled for tomorrow so have to keep that appt. and he may be given an antibiotic Rx but, if so, that is the only money we'll spend tomorrow. Will stop at the library, too, but that's free!!
It will be interesting to see what the impact of this no spend day will have.

Hugs!

That’s a nice way to end the day. It is such a pleasure seeing all these beautiful horses and your sweet little dog. I will be joining the boycott. I see there will be longer ones in the future. March 7th to the 14th is an Amazon boycott.

It's a small thing do but it does feel good to resist. I dropped my Prime membership in December. I stopped using Facebook in 2019 and Instagram in '22. I've never been on Twitter. I hope this will carry over into a common thing, not using these sites.
