Time To Step Up

Brisk, windy and sunny.

Little Wonder did not need his black coat.

When I get back in the house after chores, I always find Seymour sleeping on the bed.  He stays there for hours.
Mid morning there was a meeting at the Seymour Library for the Sweden Democratic Committee (we live in the Town of Sweden) and anyone else who was interested in getting involved with the political scene.  There were many new people there that I had never met and that was very encouraging.
The regular secretary was not available and Gary volunteered to take notes.
Karen L., our Town Leader, will be moving to Georgia in two weeks so this was her last meeting with us.  She has done a great job, keeping the party going.
We elected a new leader and assistant leader and brainstormed for quite awhile, coming up with some great ideas.  This is the time to get going, while people are still concerned about their futures.  I hope all kinds of new people show up for our first gathering (which we are just getting started on).  Back home after 1 and then I turned around and went back to Wegmans, TJ Maxx and Country Max.
Finally, Little Wonder and I got in a little nap time.
Chores at 5.

As soon as I got back in the house I started on dinner.  First, got the lomain going.  Then....
heated up the wok and started with onions, celery, carrots,
chicken (par boiled and marinated)....
cabbage, red peppers....snow peas.....

water chestnuts and peanuts.
Tasted great!
Night all.
