The humidity has arrived.
The windows are closed and the fans are going.
Two more days of this are on the way.
The ponies are in their groove, which makes me very happy.
Gary worked outside all day long.
The beets were weeded
and he started to install the lattice/skirting on the front porch.
I picked a few peppers and
made another batch of sauce. Little by little.
At 4 I met Mary at the Rec Center to take a tour with the Town Architect
regarding repairs that need to be done to the building.
And around 7pm we met Jenny, Scott, Finn and Coop at a new restaurant in Holley
for my birthday dinner.
The Holley Falls Bar and Grill.
What a beautiful building, inside and out.
We ordered all kinds of different things from the menu.
Salads...
Gary and Scott had soup...Seafood Bisque.
Coop had a sirloin steak with bourbon sauce, a side of corn.
and outstanding fries.
I had a pork chop with sun dried tomatoes, wild rice and a delicious sauce on the side.
Gary copied Coop and had a Sirloin steak.
Jenny had Cod with wild rice and a dill sauce.
Scott had scallops and garlic mashed potatoes.
Finn had a Chicken sandwich with a buffalo wing sauce and fries.
We were all more than satisfied!
As you can see, taking a family photo
is like watching "The Three Stooges."
The restaurant opened on August 6th and has been packed most of the time.
I would highly recommend it.
Before going home we drove past the Holley Falls.
So beautiful at night.
Back at the farm we had peach shortcake for dessert.
Night all.
