Transition.....

No beautiful sunrise pictures today.  Grey and quiet for starters.
The paddock footing is still so horrific I put the hay in one of the small pastures.

While I was cleaning stalls the sun came out and Phoebe found a warm spot.
 Loaded them up with shavings.
There was still a little snow on the ground, but by this evening much of it was gone.

After chores I went to Agape.
Bike/25 minutes - Treadmill/10 minutes - Elliptical/11 minutes
Still not pushing myself on the elliptical.
By the time I got back to the farm the sky was brilliant.

And most of the snow was gone.

Late afternoon brought major sunshine into the house.

Sidney and Sophie were helping me get dinner ready
and Sophie constantly tried to intimidate Sid.

I started watching "House of Cards" while working on dinner.
We had a nice fire going.
Jenny and Scott arrived a little after 6 and we had
a salad with apples/pears and craisins
 organic crusty sourdough bread
 Corn chowder
and banana cream pie for dessert.

I got out my guitar (for Scott) and baritone uke for me and we played and sang until it was time
for them to leave.  I've learned a lot since the last time we did this.
A very nice evening.
Night all.

PS
Finn and Cooper were both selected to be the student of the month.
Finn is in 7th grade and Coop is in the 5th grade.
What are the chances of that happening?
Very proud of them.

Love to peep in on your day! Spring is coming (although we too had another dusting of snow last night)!
