A Day Full of Music

We have had quite a string of beautiful days.

After chores I grabbed a quick shower and went down to our chorus rehearsal at 9:30.
Back home for a couple of hours and then we had a performance at Beikirch.

We sing there twice a year.  (It is a nursing home located in Brockport).
Below on the right is Betty E..  When she was living at her farm, she bred thoroughbreds and German Shepherds.  Easily one of the most talented artists I have ever known personally and was so knowledgeable about bloodlines.  Her daughter Picks her up every Sunday and takes her to her home for dinner and the opportunity to spend time with her dogs.  Sweet.
I took another photograph of the Abbe painting when the light was bright in the library.
This is what it really looks like.
I went out to do chores a little later tonight while Gary was the guest speaker at a History Club meeting at the Clarkson School House.  A history of gardening and lots of information about his favorite crop...garlic.
Called the girls and tucked them in for the night.

Takin' it easy.  Stitches come out tomorrow.
Night all.

Bet you'll feel better once the stitches are out. I'm sure the folks at the nursing home enjoyed the performance. Love the picture of Abbé in any light.
