What a crazy day. A brilliant morning full of humidity.
The quilts were drying in spite of it.
Phoebe and Gucci were sitting on their observation deck....
(They are going to the groomer on Wednesday and I bet they will love getting rid of that hair)
Karen was trimming some weeds (thank you very much)...
and I went out to pick more spinach.
Gary is doing a great job with the gardens...that's a lot of weeding.
After I washed the spinach and put it in the frig I went back out and picked some strawberries.
A little after noon it started to rain off and on. The later it got the harder it came down and we were getting a lot of thunder and lightning.
Gave up and put the girls in. Don't like that lightning.
We ate an early dinner that was an instant replay of a couple nights ago. We are into spinach and will eat it as long as it keeps growing.
I had frozen a couple of the biscuits I made the other day so we had shortcake for dessert.
Went back out to the barn through a torrential downpour and grained the girls. Now I am done for the day.
Night all.

Nasty weather but your gardens look wonderful. Fresh produce from your own gardens always tastes better.
I'm so jealous of your garden... and your husband that likes gardening!
We've been having a lot of thunderstorms here too, with flash flooding and massive hailstones. The locals say it's a bit early for thunderstorms - makes me wonder what August is going to be like!
Love the header of Berlin.
I'm with you - I put the horses in for lightening and/or hail.
That first picture cracks me up :) oh my those strawberries look awesome! And so does your rain!
