The Morning After....

Look at that sky!
Too bad it didn't look like this so I could have posted something for SkyWatch Friday.

Made a vegetarian pasta sauce this afternoon as we were having company for dinner.

It was still gorgeous when I went out to do chores...the temperature may hit the high 40s tomorrow and we could even get some rain.

Carol, Topper, Deb, Tom and Jenny came over at 6 for a simple dinner.

Salad, pasta, Italian bread ....
and chocolate pie for dessert.  All big yums!  A very nice, relaxing time with good friends.
Night all.

It's like magic, the way the weather changes. Grey sky and lots of snow flakes one minute and the next thing you know the sun is shinning and it's a whole new world.
That pie! Heaven.

I was drawn to the beautiful winter photos until I saw the chocolate pie. :O

You've had some incredible shots this winter.

Lori, those photos are glorious. If you look at them next summer, they'll make you feel cool.
P.s. Love your idea of 'a simple dinner'.

Beautiful but slippery! The only sensible thing to do today is stay inside and eat the rest of that chocolate pie. You and I need to remind ourselves over and over, take it easy, take it easy.

That is one big bunch of snow but it looks like all were indeed enjoying the sunshine!

Just about any one of your pictures could become Christmas cards! The snow is beautiful... to look at! Perhaps not as nice to live with it.

Such beautiful winter wonderland pictures!!! So very pretty and so peaceful...we have had but a single dusting of snow early on this winter. Other than a 2-3 week colder than normal stint, our winter has been very mild and drier than normal too. We always laugh at our weathermen. They look at anything even remotely close to unusual to get all excited because nothing ever really happens weather-wise around here. NW Oregon is not the place to be for exciting weather patterns. :)

Gorgeous skies! Really beautiful pictures of everything and everyone on the farm. I could use a piece of that cake right about now too!

Those are the most gorgeous winter pictures I have seen so far after the big storm. And I was wondering what kind of dinner you would prepare after a day out in all that snow and I was not disappointed. A lovely, lovely post that makes me wish I could come and play in all that snow. Yes, I know it's a hassle too, but still, so lovely.

The fence casting its long shadow across the snow is special for me. Well seen and shot!! The pasta and pie look scrumptious -- it's after dinner and I am salivating again -- lol --
