ANOTHER SQUEAKER IN THE WEATHER DEPARTMENT...
Beautiful, but changing.
Chores...yadda, yadda, yadda.....
Predictable....King Mustafa went straight out to the hay bag.
The ponies were out in the pasture by 9am.
After I got in the house, made arrangements to go for a bike ride with Deb T. down at the canal. The conditions were ideal. Quiet, flat, peaceful.....
Today they started letting the water out of Canal. They do it every November and refill it in the spring.
Normally it is about 2 or 3 feet higher than it looks in the photo below. This man was out there in his kayak...getting it out over those rocks was going to be a challenge.
On the way home I stopped at Ryan's Big M (the local grocery store that is closing). Everything left was 50% off....the last day. While I was there, one of the TV stations was interviewing Bob. A sad day for our community.
Class today...Just Mel and Tina were here.
Tina started a drawing of her horse...Sandman....and Mel started working on a new drawing of a fox.
He finished the polar bears.
I spent the rest of the afternoon in the kitchen making an early dinner while I watched Barbra Striesand and Robert Redford....that woman can still sing! It started getting darker outside so the fire felt especially good. Rain.
We ate early and got ready to go out to Kendall for a rehearsal with another chorus.
Tom T. and Alice K. road with us. One very dark, rainy and ugly night.
Off to a pretty wobbly start but improved.
We will perform at the High School auditorium on Friday night. It's a very nice venue.
This bicycle was on the stage so one of the guys gave it a whirl.
The Gershwin medley is a pretty good one...hopefully we will pull it off.
Home before 9. This how my buddies spent the rest of the evening.
Time to go watch the end of "The Good Wife."
Night all.

What a busy day! I've been off working in the rain/sleet/icy fog of WI.
Gotta love it, can't do anything else with it, right?
Winter is right around the corner...
