We Lucked Out

Another gorgeous day....79 degrees,

As soon as I got back in the house after chores, I got a call that the Vet was enroute to give the boys their spring shots.

Rebel was perfect and Buddy was not too bad.

She had a visiting student with her from Nepal.  So interesting.  He saw an ad online and ended up here for 5 weeks.  Over there he is studying medicine for smaller animals....not too many horses in his country.  There, it is common to have rhinos in the street!  How's that?  He showed me a photo.

When they left, I started mowing the front paddock and the outdoor arena. I was almost finished and the belt came off of the old John Deere mower deck and I had to switch lawn tractors to finish.  Once again, Scott will be to the rescue.
At last, the outdoor arena is totally filled in.

I needed to be at the library for cards at 1 and on the way the bridge over the canal was lifted up so this boat could get through.  There were many young students on it, waiting to get off at our Welcome Center.  Anyway, I had to wait for the bridge to go up and down....the cars were lined up while we waited.
Had to go to Wegmans on the way home so I was late and did not want to make dinner.  We went down to Fazools for a burger.  Home by 7 and out to tuck the boys in at 8:30.

When I miss my afternoon nap I am so tired.
Night all.
