A crispy morning.
After chores I took a quick break and was back in the grooming room by 10 as the farrier was on the way.
Rebel had his feet done first. They needed to be cleaned up.
Buddy's feet are always great.
Jessy was gone a little after 11 and the boys were turned back out.
I did a couple loads of laundry, changed the sheets and grabbed a shower. In the meantime, we had a call from Jane (who I gave the rhubarb to yesterday) and she had a pie for us! Gary went down to pick it up....must weigh 10 pounds. Huge and so delicious ( I tasted it before going to the library).
After bridge I picked up the ice cream sandwiches that were left in the freezer at the fire hall. Home by 4:30. Gary took us out to dinner at the Churchville Grill.
After a long grey day, the sun finally made an appearance when we got back to the farm.
Chores at 7:30.
Whoa! The light coming into the barn was fantastic.
So different outside.
Night all.
