Brilliant and crisp. Perfect.
Rebel's nose was good this morning. So grateful.
While I was in the barn, Gary picked a couple dozen tulips as we needed them for the dining room table and for Jenny and Carol to take some home after our Mother's Day lunch.
Scott arrived at 11:15 and he and Gary put together the shish ke bobs (well marinated since yesterday).
The porch is in pretty good shape now and I'm sure Gary will be out there everyday....
reading or snoozing.
Yuuuuuummmmmmmmm. Ready to go on the grill.
I put together a salad....
and Scott made risotto in an Instant Pot. I need to do that!
We had cheese, crackers and apples on the porch with Mimosas while Gary did the grilling....and then it was time for lunch. It felt like dinner. We ate early today as Jenny and Scott had to go to his family's in the late afternoon.
Everything turned out perfectly. Love grilled veggies. The onions got so sweet and the pineapple chunks were outrageous....not to mention the peppers and mushrooms.....
Topper was the clean up man. We love having them join us!
So glad Finn was home for the weekend.. Next week he will finish his finals and is off to camp for two weeks. Cooper comes back this coming Wednesday.
Took it easy for awhile, then Gary did all the dishes.
(Little Wonder passed on evening chores tonight....he and Gary napped).
The light was gorgeous when I went out for evening chores at 8.
Another one of those dramatic skies.
Night all.
Happy Mother's Day to all
and two of my favorites!

So happy to know Rebel is mended! You had a wonderful day with friends and family. And....a meal made by the gentlemen, how great is that! Everything looks beautiful at your place, including the people.
