And So It Goes....

We were in the 60s today and fortunately the rain held off until 6:30pm.

Once again, Rebel still had a little drainage in his nose.  I cleaned it up, hoping it would give up.  My friend Sandra wondered if a cyst burst in his sinuses and that's what got the whole thing started.  I think she might be right.  Imagine it's going to drain until it's done.  This morning instead of giving him his antibiotics in a syringe I put 16 pills in his breakfast and he ate it!  That makes my life much easier...his too.

After chores, we pulled a cart out of the loft and Gary dragged it down to the driveway so my friend Andrea can use it with a Shire out at her place.  It's an antique back to back and our friend Randy used it on his Belgian Joe (who lived here for a very long time).
That got the attention of Buddy and Rebel.  Can you see how foggy it was?

Eventually Gary put it in the indoor so I can clean it up tomorrow.

At 11:30 I went down to Elderwood (a senior facility by the hospital) with some chicken soup, crusty bread and hot tea for our friend Randy (who owns the cart).  He is in a rehab situation trying to get back home.  So many trees were in bloom along the way.

Back to the farm and went out for a Rebel check with Little Wonder.
Then I put a roasting chicken in the oven and went down to Wegmans for a few things.

Sweet potatoes and a salad with pears and apples on the side.
Chores at 7:30.  It was pouring so I did not have LW come with me.

Cleaned Rebel's nose again and gave them their dinner.
I used the shedding blade on both.  Buddy still has some hair hanging on.

Night all.

PS
My political statement for the day.
Can't believe Trump said (out loud) that he doesn't know if he has to follow the constitution!
His fight with judges and the courts is out of control.

I've always cursed pills, put them in some water with a little sugar and mixed with the grain. Works like a charm. You know how they have a sweet tooth! That is a beautiful cart. I can picture the Belgian pulling it. Your chicken is just the way I like it, yum!

Crushed. Although I sometimes would curse!
