A Little More Music

We had some sunshine and wind today.  Not too bad.

Started off the morning with a third blossom getting ready to open up.

Back in the house and spent some time with Mary Pat before she took off for the day.  LW is liking her a lot.  I don't know about you, but I can't get adjusted to the time change.  I wake up at 6, which is really 5.
The third blossom was fully opened by 10am.
No yoga for Gary, but he did go out to lunch.
I spent the afternoon with three friends who came up to play some music.  It's going to take awhile to get back in the groove.

By the time they left I had to get ready for evening chores.

Got the boys tucked in and was ready to go back in the house
for a replay of last nights dinner.

I'm so tired and it's only 7:30.
Night all.

Boursin....Garlic and Herb

Interesting weather today.  In the 40s, pouring rain, then sunshine and finally....thunder/lightning/hail tonight.

Unfortunately I took the sheets off the horses as it was supposed to be in the 50s.
We had a bonus day in the blossom department.

By noon, it was grey with high winds and rain so the boys went back inside.

After skipping last month, I was finally able to have an appointment with the massage therapist.  Boy!  Did I need it.  I called Gary before going home to have him let the horses out for awhile.  The rain had stopped and sunshine appeared.  It looked like this on the way home at 4:45.
As I got closer to the farm I pulled off the road to grab some photos.

Mary Pat was busy with friends all day.
It was close to dark when I headed out for evening chores.

I don't know how this happened, but the shot below reminds me of a painting.
When food is involved, Buddy and Rebel are always ready to get tucked in.

In the meantime....Mary Pat made us dinner.  Simple and delicious.  I will be making this in the future and you should try it too.  Have no clue what it is called.
Ingredients:
1 box of pasta (she used bow ties)
Fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes (you decide how much....I would put in an entire clam shell of the spinach and load it up with cherry tomatoes) and Boursin cheese.
Pour a little olive oil in a lasagna pan , add the spinach and tomatoes then toss them together so they are covered with the oil.
Tuck in 2 squares of the Boursin cheese and put in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.  In the meantime, prepare the pasta and then toss it with the spinach/tomato/cheese mixture.  Salt and pepper to taste.  It's nice and creamy.
So good!!!!

Night all.

The Last Two Minutes!

Just finished watching the Bills game.  The last two minutes always drive me nuts.....but they won tonight!
Gorgeous sunrise this morning.  We turned the clocks back last night and I woke up at the usual time.  Was in the shower by 6:10 (5:10) and went out to do chores earlyish.
Cold, but not too bad.  At least it wasn't raining....we did get about an inch and a half in the past few days.
Mary Pat was ready to head out for a coffee with a friend in Brockport when I got back in the house.  Little Wonder has decided that she is an ok person.
After she left I did a couple loads of laundry and made the bed with fresh everything.  Little Wonder thought it was a good place to relax.
Before lunch I went out to clean up the pastures and appreciated the sunshine.
Sidney was in his hideout.

Gary finished planting the garlic today and will be covering the 500 plants with leaves.  He is expecting a delivery this week.
Took it easy this afternoon.  I'm good until lunch time and it's down hill from there.  Sat by the fire....
and had a surprise visit by Jenny.  She had just come back from the University of Buffalo. where she took Coop and Heather out to lunch after THEY CHANGED THE BATTERY in his car.  I'm so impressed that they knew how to do it.

Can't believe I had to go out for chores at 5 instead of 6.
The boys knew it was time.

Obviously they had been doing some rolling.
That pink sky was back again (to the West).

Mary Pat was gone all day, visiting her sister and niece.  Got home right when we were eating dinner.  Patty melts and Mac salad.
We watched the end of the game and that was that.
Night all.
