Warm Enough For A Short Spa Day

We made it to 41 degrees and by late afternoon it was raining.

After chores I went down to Country Max and Wegmans for a few things.  I wonder if and when the prices are going to soar.  Called Alice to see if it was warm enough for her to come for a spa day and she was for it.  Arrived at 11:30 and the boys were ready.

When we finished, they went out to finish their breakfast.
As you can see....Little Wonder loves Alice.

I spent the afternoon trying to find phone numbers for people in the House and Senate, as I plan to make a LOT of phone calls.  I hope many others do the same.  This Musk crap needs a BiG reaction.
Mark and Robbie Fenton stopped up for a quick conversation by the fire.  We totally plan to keep and eye on their Mom as they both have to return to their homes.
Chores at 5:30.

The boys were wet...not too bad.

French toast and sausage for dinner.  Just right.
Night all.

PS
Check out this photo of Stephanie and Jennifer from the dark ages.
It was Halloween and they were with neighbors. Batman is between them and they were wearing letters that I had earned in high school...pretending they were cheerleaders.

Winter Serenades Started Today

The sunrise was gorgeous.

Cold, but not outrageous.

Gary left at 1:15 to set up the first Winter Serenades concert at St. Lukes.
I had a quiet afternoon and made a few recordings from my computer.
Today two violinists were featured.  Jeanelle Thompson joined the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as Principal Second Violin in 2022.  Angelina Phillips holds the position of Associate Concertmaster in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.  Amazingly enough, these two put their program together in just four days!

So here we are, in little old Brockport being entertained by some of the best musicians around.  Many thanks to the Village of Brockport and the Serenades committee for bringing music to our community!
Jenny called and said that she and Scott were going to bring up a pizza for dinner at 5:30.  Gary got home at 5:15 and I finished chores by the time they got here.

As you can see, it started snowing again.  Fortunately the temperature hit 30 degrees and tomorrow we may reach 40.

2 pizzas and a few wings.  Yum.

Night all.
