The Adventures Of Little Wonder Dog....

This is how it looked late last night when I let the dogs out for a potty break.

 It was very eerie looking.
This morning, on the other hand, it was crisp and bright....more like the weather I prefer.
Little Wonder is pretty good about doing his business outside and most of the time he is very patient about coming back into the house.
After he and Phoebe ate breakfast, we went out to the barn.
I am still putting him in the crate when I let the horses out, but while I am feeding and cleaning stalls he has the run of the joint and stays close by.
Phoebe prefers to stay in the front paddock or on the porch in front of Gary's barn.

Mid morning we went down to the Brockport Animal Hospital.  Took a sample so LW could be checked for worms (negative), then they weighed him and gave me a puppy kit with heartworm and flea/tick meds....Free!  This was his first time on a leash so he was not quite sure of what I was asking him to do.

I make sure he and Phoebe go outside every time he wakes up so he does not pee in the house.
It's working very well.
They explored the veggie garden on one of their trips.

Later on, Jim F. stopped in to work on the French door for the Studio and we walked over there.
My class is going to love having him there tomorrow.

All I wanted to do was take a nap before dinner....Little Wonder had a different plan.
Gary got a lot of work done in the back yard.  We now have a very nice landing off the back steps (was he thinking of Wonder when he did this?)

A simple dinner.  Veggie burgers, roasted sweet potatoes and a tomato/cucumber salad.
The pups had peas and a little sweet potato on their kibbles.
Are they spoiled or what?
Night all.

PS
Tonight was the first time Phoebe and Little Wonder played together.
They spent a good 5 minutes chasing each other and that is a very good sign.

He's such a good puppy! I can't stop saying how adorable he is either. It's good to hear Phoebe has started playing with him too.

Love the LWD updates! So glad he and P are starting to act like siblings! That is so fast! Isn't it funny how no matter what we all forget how much work a puppy is! So worth it!

Growing up around horses from such a young age means he will be so good with them! I wonder if my Pickle would be good around horses if we manage to get one in the next few years. I really want a pony for the baby.

Hi Lori, that's one determined pup on your chest. You can see whose pet he is. I love that you keep him safe in a crate with his toys and blanket. Phoebe is such a lady who has taken well to the new family member by the looks of things...
