A very nice, easy going morning.
Gary has been known to put birdseed on top of the stump in the back yard....little
sunflowers are growing in the cracks.
Check out the color of the grass!
Berlin was waiting for me when I got to the barn.
I lollygagged through chores...no appointments today.
Yesterday Gary got a load of mulch....
which he put around our fruit trees. It sure looks a lot better.
There was a crew of 8 from the power company working on the lane.
I thought they were going to install a telephone pole, but instead, they took it away.
I was feeling ambitious and put together one of our summer fruit bowls. We needed something healthy to have around for snacks.
After that I made coleslaw made with the bacon, onions etc. but this time I used one of our red cabbages. It was coarser and stronger. Tomorrow it may taste better.
At 3:30 I got my hair cut and at 6:30 Phoebe and I were down at the Welcome Center
for Summer Serenades.
Zak's Pak was on deck and they had the crowd movin'.
Mary was there.
Phoebe and I started off on the steps, but I don't think she enjoyed the band as much as I did.
That's just part of the cords!
I went out on the balcony to record a few songs and my pup watched me through the door
so she could continue to enjoy the air conditioning.
I decided to take her along tonight so she would feel special.
Could not ask for a sweeter, more well behaved dog.
Little Wonder will come home on Saturday and her life is going to be different with him around.
I imagine he will drive her nuts for awhile...Hopefully she will learn how to act motherly.
It was dark when we got home and that moon was asking to have it's picture taken.
Night all.

Phoebe is adorable in her pink jacket. What a sweetie. I'm sure she'll enjoy having some dog company around again. Love the shots of the moon.
A relaxing day. Like those little flowers growing on the wood. And that moon!

What a lovely night you had. We had storms and some pretty nasty stuff. However our creeks are overflowing and the heat is making everything grow like...well .. weeds.
Hope the Little Wonder works out well!
