Still Coolin' It...

And I love it this way.  No humidity and perfect temperatures.  Going into the low 50s tonight....good sleepin' weather.

After chores Lorrie and I stripped one of the run-ins...only about 8 or 9 big wheelbarrows of bedding.
It needs a good airing out.

Class this morning.  Jean is back with her texture technique and did this over the weekend.  I've shown you a lot of her work in the past.
Our friend Sara stopped up for some veggies and chatter.  Did we ever.

 Gary got a basket ready....
and after class I added to it with Kale, dill, basil and parsley.
Don't they look like two bridesmaids???

Gary is very generous with the produce from the gardens.  We supply several families.

I'm into wraps for lunch, with lots of veggies.

Gorden B. came up today and rototilled the rings.  They look much better now and I'm sure the girls will appreciate rolling in them.

Went out a little after 5 and called them in for dinner.

I made an outstanding Saint Tim salad tonight and I think he put the whammie on my camera.  The picture turned out this way so he doesn't have to look at it.  (Sorry Stephen Andrew).  Mixed greens, peaches, strawberries from the garden, our onion, caramelized pecans and crumbly blue.  Ummmmm.
Veggie bowties with sauteed onions, zucchini, steamed carrots and peas.  A no brainer.
Also had toasted Syrian bread, but I can't show you that picture either as it is blurrier than the salad.

As for the Cape Cod delegation....
Who knows what they're doing.  So far they have not sent me any pictures.
Night all.

Haha I think the garden bouquets are quite fetching! Oh I'm jealous, I'd love to be at the Cape right now!
