By the Time the Art Show was Over You Needed an Ark!

So what's with all the rain we have been having lately????
 It was raining this morning....

and this afternoon when we picked up the flower arrangement at Sara's for the art opening....

and when we were setting up the room at the Library

 and when we got home....

and when I went out to take a picture of the broken tie rod in the lawn mower
Heck, it was still coming down when I put the horses in at 5.
 Aren't they lovely?

Got cleaned up and went down to the art opening.  Al was there setting up his carvings.
It's not unusual for him to put in 1-2 hundred hours on a bird.
Can't get enough of these flowers...thank you Kathy.
All of the artists brought goodies for our guests.

 There I am....

 A very chatty group....

The conversation area we set up in the middle of the room was a big hit.

Home a little after 9.  Need some rest.
Night all.

By the way....it is still raining.

I think Moon edged Abbe out for the sloppiest pony award.

Flowers, superb arrangement, edible goodies galore, beautiful handcrafted items, and a lovely tablecloth that suits the urn? tin can? the flowers are in, so well, sets it off to perfection. Hope the rain stopped, and a great night was had by all. Cheers from Jean.

Hope the rain didn't keep away too many people from the opening - looks like a great show. And now all that rain is arriving here. Ack!
