A very busy morning. Started off shredding some paper, then I put all the winter horse blankets out on the fence in hopes of big rains.
Not quite as hot as yesterday.
Gar did a lot of work in the gardens today....caught a break late afternoon.
Company for dinner.
Started off with a few snacks...apricots, cherries, peanuts, extra sharp cheddar cheese, crackers and roasted red pepper hummus.
Karen is visiting Jen and it was great to see her again.
Finn and Coop were tired from the getgo.
Bill S. (the artist that produced all the sculpture we have inside and out) stopped over to pick up some copies of the Buffalo News. He and his son made the front page and Gary got him some extra papers. Talked him in to staying for dinner.
Italian sausage with peppers and onions...
Pasta....crusty bread
Jenny was in the mood for grilling some fish...
A feast.
Of course Gary had to tell stories about the adventures he and Bill have had.
Tucked the girls in. The bugs were having a field day.
Time to put my feet up.
Night all.

Your day, from start to finish, every pic is lovely, golden flowers, Gary relaxing, super food. green grass. And blue skies. perfect. Greetings from Jean
We finally got a break in the weather from flash floods and mud slides!
I'm happy to see the sun and we are getting some summer work done now!
Yummy - a beautiful feast at that!
The bugs are HORRIBLE this year!
Are you have a bad buggy year? We are having the worst that anyone can ever remember.. or at least were. I have been lucky to have a bunch of dragonflies hatch the last two days and am better, but other people still can't go outside. Hard on the animals.
