This afternoon we attended the installation of our good friend Joanne Gilbert-Cannon as the new Pastor at the First Baptist Church in Brockport. She and her husband arrived in Brockport many years ago when he accepted a job at the High School where I taught Art. When I retired and began teaching at home, we traded art lessons for piano lessons (I like classical and music from the 40s). It has been a long time coming and she really deserves this position. These are the flowers I presented to her after the ceremony. The church was packed with people from the community.
