Are You Kidding Me?

This morning I felt better than yesterday.  Yay.  Not through coughing totally, but less often.

The fog was down to the ground and we were still in the 40s.

Little Wonder and I did a little clean up around the house as Jenny was picking up Gary at the hospital and they were going to get home by 1.  Before they got here, I put on a mask and picked up his perspcriptions at the pharmacy.  Consulted with my Doc and he said I should not be contagious and should wear a mask.  So I did.  Still plan to spend the next few days in solitary.  While I was gone, Finn and Coop came up, filled the water buckets and dumped the wheelbarrow.  They have got this 5 minute routine down and I appreciate it so much.

Around 4pm Gary woke up from a long nap and was having some leaking problems and after calling the Doctor, was told he needed to go to the Emergency Room for some assistance.  I quickly put the horses in....

and we headed down to Strong West.  This is the first time I have see it packed with people and the wait was minimum of 2 hours.  I ended up talking to the people at the desk and they decided to check him out next.  Wham Bam.  They were able to do what needed to be done in minutes and we were on our way home before 5:30.  Now I am working on dinner.

Up Since 4:30am

It was dreary, around 50 degrees and rained all day.  

Jenny picked up Gary at 4:45am to take him to the hospital for a procedure and I have been up since then.  He is finally in a room and will be there overnight.  Jenny did not get home until after 4pm....taking good care of her Dad while I stay in solitary still coughing.

Fortunately Finn and Cooper came up around 10 to help me do a couple things.

I spent the afternoon watching movies and talking to some friends on the phone.  More of them have retested positive for covid.  Chores before dark.  What a mud hole.

It's all about sunshine for Steph and the crew.

When?

We had a gorgeous sunrise and then it was mild, rainy and grey for the rest of the day.

I went to bed so early last night I woke up at 5am.

Gary came out and did his thing.  He will be off duty for awhile as he has a minor surgery tomorrow.  Fortunately Finn and Cooper are home from college and they will be filling in.  Jenny will be handling transportation to the hospital.

I feel better off and on, but still remain tired.  Have not had very many good days since before thanksgiving.  At that time, I don't think it was Covid.  That started 10 days ago.

Tucked the boys in at 5.

An instant replay for dinner tonight.  Not very hungry.
