My morning started with 5 more inches of snow and I shoveled a path from the house to the barn. The saga continues with Rebel, but Buddy seems ok.
A couple days ago I put some old hay down in case there was ice and today it was a pain in the butt clearing a path.
I also cleared another one where the horses walk to the water trough.
They don't seem to like the hay I was feeding and left a lot.
Of course Rebel had to hobble out to the pasture and Buddy followed.
Can you believe how high the snow has piled up?
Sid likes sitting on the shelf above the heat run.
At 1 I was at the library playing bridge. Skip and I were far from first place.
When I got back to the farm Gary and Little Wonder were taking a nap.
Chores at 5:15. Rebel was still putting his front left forward. How long is it going to take to get through what I think is an abscess?
Got the boys tucked in.
It was another purple night.
Leftover spags for dinner.
At 7:30 we were at the Tower Fine Arts building at the college for a concert.
This group was started 28 years ago and only one of the originals is still in it. They are located in the Boston area and have performed in and out of the country.
Below, is the man that started Ball in the House.
What a terrific a Cappella group!
Below is an example of their sound that I found online (as I was unable to take photos or record during the performance).
A nice change. We seldom go out at night at this time of the year.
Night all.
