Many Errands

More sunshine.  Still need rain.

After chores I was all over the place buying groceries and a new mouse pad.  Also stopped at Gregry's Bakery to pick up a couple of cookies.

This afternoon I finished mowing the lawn and around 4:30, a friend stopped by on his way to the airport.
Gary had gone down to the Welcome Center to see the SENECA CHIEF.  This is a reproduction of a boat that was made when the Erie Canal opened 200 years ago and was built in Buffalo, NY by over 200 volunteers during the past 5 years.  It left Buffalo on 9/24 and will get to New York City by 10/25.  This afternoon it arrived here.  It will be making 28 stops and people will be able to tour the boat.

Do you know anything about the Erie Canal?
We have met people from all around the world at our Welcome Center as they have docked there.
Can you imagine digging this without the equipment we have today?`

Photo taken by John Kucko, who has been following the Seneca Chief.  Notice (in this photo) that you can drive under the canal here.
Sandwiches for dinner and early chores.

Our friend Lisa E-R is going to be spending a couple of nights with us as she is back to do two dressage clinics at the Renaissance Equestrian Center.  Looking forward to catching up.
I have not felt that great for the past many days and need to get me feet up.
Night all.

Hope you can stay home in the days ahead, rest, relax, and get over what's been ailing you.

Hugs!
