Here and There

During the month of September we have had about 1/3 of an inch of rain.  Normally we are near three inches.  Still waiting.

Lisa was up and out of here before 8.  Around 10 I drove over to the Renaissance Equestrian Center to catch part of a lesson with Dawn (who was hosting the clinic).

Lisa is such an outstanding instructor.

Home by 11.
We finally gotten a few apples on the little cylindrical trees we planted near the kitchen.  Tomorrow we will try one.
I finished mowing around the outdoor arena and caught the boys hiding out in the indoor.

Before lunch, our friend Joann stopped over with a couple of signs.  She is in the upcoming election, running for Town Justice.  She has been an attorney for 28 years and I sure hope she makes it.

Are these crocuses spectacular or what?????
Chores around 6, as Lisa would be back for dinner around that time.

The light coming into the barn was spectacular.

Dinner was delicious.  Pasta in chicken stock with caramelized onions, butter, Romano cheese and lots of fresh squeezed lemon juice.

Yum.
Tomorrow is Gary's birthday and we are going to Jenny's for lunch and the Bill's game.  I'm going to make an apple pie and a salad.
Time to get my feet up.
Night all.
