We had sunshine, warmer temperatures and late afternoon rain.
After chores I did a few things around the house, grabbed a quick shower
and drove down to 58 Main for a luncheon for retired teachers.
We had quite a feast and it was good to see people that I only see on this day.
By 1:15, I made it to a Farm to Table meeting at Oak Orchard.
I had started mowing the lawn before I left and finished
when I got home.
Made several calls to Spectrum today as I wanted our cable turned off. They forwarded me to someone in retention and they offered me another promotion. Gary and I discussed it and decided
to keep it. Drove down to pick up a cable box and....they had not included it in the price quote.
So I refused the deal and came home. Then I called them back and found out that if I have Apple TV I don't need a box. Hooked me up with an internet specialist to talk me through putting the Spectrum App on the tv. Once again, NO DEAL. The Apple TV was too old. Now I have to get a box if we want to have cable work in the kitchen. What a pain in the butt. However....I can still get a deal.
Never accept what they are charging you...they almost always negotiate. I should get cable, phone and internet for $118. That's a lot less than most of our friends pay. One more phone call to go
and it will be a done deal.
While I was at the Spectrum Store it started to pour.
Had to stop at Wegmans and got wet.
When are we going to stop getting this crapola weather?
Of course the sun came out before it got dark.
That's when I got my favorite shot of the day.
Night all.
