Nothing special about morning chores....spritzy rain on and off all day.
Once again Little Wonder chose to stay out with me and
Phoebe wanted to go back in the house.
Gary brought home the Suburban News after he went to Java for coffee....
and I was quoted on the front page. Nice article.
Moving on to room number 3. Progress!
Yesterday Hanny gave me some valances and a set of curtains...
and they worked out beautifully in room number two.
This hibiscus blossom looks just like paper....
a fabulous color combination.
Another one was blooming in the dining room. Must be the right time of year.
Tonight we were invited to the 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration for Kathy and Jim G.
It was held at Deerfield and was beautifully decorated for the season.
Fabulous food and 100 people! Friends and family from all over the country.
There were many comments and toasts made before dinner.
We learned a lot about the entire family and it involved plenty of laughing.
Little did I know that Kathy and Jim loved to dance!

We drove through the village on the way home and the lights were on.
Time to get back to my book.

A lovely celebration. Good article in the paper. The senior center sounds like a huge success and you’re a big part of it. Congratulations.
