Deep Tapioca!

Good grief...we are in for more hot and dry weather for the next week.

After chores I had a 10am appointment with the massage therapist.  I've missed a couple of months and was very happy to be there.
Afterward I asked if she wanted to go over to Tina's pool for a swim and she was game.
I drove down Canal Road and this huge barge (of sorts) was heading west.
 I've never seen it before.

The pool was it's usual 83 degrees and felt great.
This time I swam/treaded water for 75 minutes.
Beats the heck out of the elliptical!
On the way out, I always love to grab shots of Tina's gardens.
This was my favorite catch of the day.

Earlier, I had asked Gary to pick up 6 bags of shavings on his way home from coffee.  Sale today.
Then I grabbed 10 more before getting back to the farm.
More flowers all over Country Max.

I spent the afternoon in front of a fan.   Once again, our house knuckled under.
Judy and her friend Jean stopped in for a couple of cabbages (since that coleslaw I made last night is all the rage).  As a matter of fact, I did sort of a replay of last nights dinner.  Earlier this afternoon I sliced the leftover country ribs and threw them in a crock pot covered with BBQ sauce and a little more vinegar.  A perfect way NOT to heat up the kitchen.  Then, I added more cabbage to yesterday's coleslaw and we were set!  Tasted just fine.....
 Chores at 7.
The girls have to be so tired of this heat.

Got them tucked in and here I am.
Night all.

Deep tapioca is right! Wonder where that expression came from.

This heat is oppressive. Tomorrow they say it should feel like 100-104 with the humidity. Ugh!
