What A Gorgeous Day

Warmer than it was supposed to be...we made it to 37 degrees and the sun was very powerful by this afternoon.

The water in the back pasture is receding pretty quickly.  This morning it was frozen as it was about 20 degrees.
The snow has finally melted enough for two of our garden buddies to appear.
Here's the situation around the house.  Love seeing grass.

When Gary got home from Java we attacked the loft (attic) above our kitchen, where 75% of the stuff  is pure crap!  We filled up our dumpster and had 7 full garbage bags... waiting until next Wednesday to take down 6 more boxes.  It will take us days to finish the job.

Around 1pm Sally and Judy stopped up for some eggs.  Shamra outdid herself last Tuesday, bringing 6 dozen.
We had a cup of tea and many laughs.
I love this tea pot my friend Kendra gave me before she moved out of state.  She figured it needed to be at our farm.
I found some Franciscan ware in one of the boxes upstairs.  Between this and what Jenny got from my Mom, we can easily serve 20.
I shoveled a path through the remaining snow and checked out the studio.  The temperature was 50 inside because of all the sunshine.  I'm am very anxious to get back out there, but my little electric stove can't cut it yet.

Eventually the water in the pasture melted and a dozen seagulls showed up.
Decided to take off Abbe and Berlin's blankets, as they were just snoozing in the front paddock where it was nice a toasty.  Had a chance to use the shedding blade and got in some brushing.

Karen did not want to take off her blankets, but I thought it was worth it even tho it would only be for a couple of hours.
Chores a little after 6.  Put the blankets back on as it will be in the low 20s tonight.

 Another colorful sunset.
 Breakfast for dinner.
 Fine with me.
Night all.

Looks lie a nice day. Amazing how much junk we accumulate over the years isn't it? I've got to start on the basement soon. Ugh!

Supposed to get around six inches of snow here today. Happy first day of Spring....

Ooh, what is that?

Good to catch up a bit. Can't believe you are all melted. Sounds like Kris is still buried!
