A sweatshirt kind of morning....but so beautiful.
After chores I got on my trike and headed North on our road. After the first mile I decided to keep going, taking pictures along the way.
Do we have a beautiful neighborhood or what????
(This farm takes all of our horse manure that is not used here. I'll bet it helped grow all those pumpkins).
It was only 9:15 and I decided to keep on going....
This is not a real General Store...it holds all the antiques this man has collected.
Notice all those little buildings to the left....they are full of goodies too.
This house has really developed over the years, and it is so beautifully landscaped.
A couple decades ago the barn burned down here, and the horses that were saved got walked all the way to our house, where they stayed for awhile.
Fortunately there was a lot of downhill riding on this trip.
Lots of traffic when I got to a main intersection.
This is one of the many beautiful Victorian homes in our village. It is a Bed and Breakfast.
Jenny used to live here. It has one fabulous kitchen!

I was hoping Gary was still at Java so he could give me a ride home.
He had already left and was on his way to Tina and Roger's to stain the new addition on their horse barn. Can't wait to see it.
Ended up at Sally's, where I left my bike (so we can go for a ride tomorrow morning on the Canal).
She drove me home and picked up 2 bags of veggies.

Before going back to the farm we stopped to see the progress on Karen's new apartment. It is going to be nothing less than spectacular, and she will be able to move in pretty soon.
As this is Thursday, I had a committee meeting (Senior Center) at the town hall and ended up there from 3-6. We had 4 guests and a good discussion about last night's "event.". Did chores before dinner and it was still gorgeous out there.
Karen made dinner. Stuffed shells and a nice salad.
Delish...but of course.
Break time.

I guess they have some good 'picking places' in western NY state too.
