When I woke up this morning, the moon was still high in the western sky....
while the sun was rising in the east.
Before I went out to the barn, the light was incredible....
outside and inside.
I was too late to catch the latest hibiscus bloom in all it's glory, but it was still quite interesting this morning.
How can I not talk about the weather?
It was -4 when I got to the barn....
and a big fat 0 when I finished chores.
Went to get gas, Wegmans and Country Max for some shavings.
Did a little shoveling and had a quiet afternoon.
Evening chores at 5:30. Fortunately the temperature ended up in the low 20s.
Cabbage soup, bagels, cheddar cheese and apples for dinner.
Loved the combination of flavors.
Night all.

Super photos when the sun first shines on the snow, I can see huge piles after shovelling!!! Cheers, Jean.
Love the morning pictures!
Dinner looks great for a cold night.
I've never had cabbage soup, but it sounds delightfully good especially on a chilly night.

Love that you caught that lavender-blue of the sky with the moon!
Your title of your blog entry today would make a GREAT novel title.
Everything revolves around the weather these days. Glad you are getting some resting time.
Oh the light, brrr the cold, yum the soup. xx
Although I haven 't been around to comment, I have stopped by to read when I can. I can not believe the terrible weather you have had for so long. Hopefully spring, with all of its beauty, will be that much more appreciated and beautiful!
