AND NOW FOR THE REST OF THE DAY...

Before the beautiful sky disappeared around 8 o'clock, the house and barns had a pink tint....
 Isn't that right Seymour?

Did chores in a relaxed fashion...

Put the hay in nets under the shed roof in case it rained.

The horses were very curious about a truck that drove down the lane...a hunter.
I truly don't like hearing guns going off around the horses.
The person who used to own the land around us ditched this wagon on the edge of his property.  Not lovely to look at, but interesting to photograph.
I was out back checking to see where the hunters went.

Not very productive today...watched a movie late afternoon before I went out to do chores.

"Come on in girls...time to eat!"

It was very mild today....high of 64...and it didn't rain until after 4.

Pasta night at Skoog Farm.

I needed a fix....that had nothing to do with turkey.
Like finishing my posts early...
Night all.

You had my favorite dinner again. I hear you -- no more turkey. Your salad looks especially good -- I think I ate too much fat over the past few days. Lean and green looks delich. I hate hunters too. We heard one this morning -- makes us very nervous when we go on a trail ride. And, lastly, I do supplement already with magnesium, selenium and E - among other things.

Be careful around those hunters!
The girls sure know who goes where. Very cute.

Wow, Seymour is bathed in pink too, Lori. Beautiful photos and post as always. I loved the clips of your horses. Would love to hear your voice next time! Thanks for your previous post, too. You motivated me to open my camera manual last night (first time and I've had the camera since August!) I learnt many things in the short time I browsed through it. I intend to read up a couple of pages every day. Have a great day. Blessings. Jo

I don't like the hunters around us either, but I know they're around, so we're keeping the dogs close by and not letting them wander. (They got shot at last year). But your day has a relaxing feel and that is the best way to end a day!!

The first pictures are like seeing the world through rose colored glasses. I'm not crazy about the hunters around here either. Those guns are shooting all morning and throughout the day. Can't wait til the season is over.

My husband's uncle had a farm way upstate and he had to actually take whitewash and pain "COW" on the sides of his cows. Seems the city folk would shoot anything that moved.

The pink light is very pretty and so are your horses. I haven't seen or heard any hunters around here and I'm glad for that.
