Just sprinkling this morning and we decided to put the girls in the indoor with their hay bags.
They were back out when it stopped and
ran around like maniacs. Maggie rolled in the outdoor arena (lake) and was
covered with mud. Crazy! It was cold.
Once again, Phoebe chose to go in the house and Little Wonder stayed
with me until I finished chores.
After that, I ran several errands. Went to Country Max for shavings, stopped at the gas station, picked more apples and dropped off pie and Jenny's.
The rain and wind put a gazillion leaves on the ground. I love that yellow look.
Abbe makes a mess in her stall unlike the other three girls.
She pees a lot so I have to take out a lot.
Today I filled it up again.
While Wonder and I were out there, he and Sid had a conversation.
After lunch we started moving brush to the street as there will be a pick up in a few days.
The gardens still have something to offer.
We relaxed by the fire for awhile this afternoon and I went out to do chores at 6.
We actually had a little sunshine.
Tucked the girls in their cozy stalls and headed back to the house.
I prepared a basket of tomatoes and onions for Jenny, and that motivated me to make
more fried green tomatoes.
Once again I served them on greens along with the leftover pasta from Thursday.
I am going to spend the rest of the evening by the fire.
Night all.

I love fried green tomatoes! Sounds so good! I made an apple pie today!
Fall really does have a beauty all its own - Just like Wonder and Sid had a conversation all their own too! :-)
And what a perfect way to end the day, a good meal and by the fire - Enjoy!!
